Maui Fourth of July

Will you be in Maui for July 4, 2017? If so, Maui has lots of great activities such as parades, fireworks shows, cruises, and other festivities to help you celebrate. Read below to find out more about what’s going on in Maui this year for the Fourth of July!

Maui Fourth of July Cruise

Fourth of July Fireworks Cruises

There are many companies that offer great cruises on the Fourth of July. The Pacific Whale Foundation offers cruises from Lahaina and Ma’alaea Harbor including a no-alcohol option. Trilogy offers two different tours, including one with a 4-course dinner and craft cocktails. The Alii Nui offers a dinner tour as well, and includes complimentary transportation for most south and west side resorts. The Pride of Maui cruise features dinner, an open bar, and live entertainment. There are several other companies that also offer special Fourth of July cruises, but be sure to book soon as they often sell out quickly!

Fireworks Show in Lahaina

Lahaina has a great fireworks show, and this year is supposed to be bigger and better than ever. You can see the fireworks from anywhere on Front Street, including several great restaurants such as Fleetwood’s, Kimo’s, or Longhi’s, which have seating available overlooking the water, but be sure to get your reservations early. There will also be other activities going on throughout the day, including live music and activities for kids. Keep in mind that this event does become very crowded!

“Our flight with Air Maui was excellent in every way possible. Our pilot Kirk was entertaining and informative during the whole flight and the views were amazing. This is by far the best way to see the island of Maui.” - michaellD9922XS

“It was definitely the highlight for our entire family. The weather was perfect and the views were spectacular. Jesse was a fantastic pilot and host. It’s a memory that the entire family will share for years to come.” - Shannie2

“We did the complete island tour and sat in front with the pilot, Richie Olsten. He knew quite a lot about the island & had some pretty good stories to tell. Truly nice guy with a great personality! From start to finish everyone was friendly & very helpful. We got to see a lot of beautiful scenery which included waterfalls since the clouds decided to take a day off. If we go back to Maui we'd definitely consider doing another one of their tours!” - 30tonil

“The Air Maui Doors Off - West Maui and Molokai helicopter tour was exceptional! The staff who greeted us at Air Maui were friendly and pleasant. The ride itself was fantastic. Our pilot, Jesse, gave us a tour that we will not soon forget. He was very knowledgeable about the history, terrain, and notable locations on the tour. He also made sure that he circled some of the more notable features (e.g., waterfalls, seaside cliffs) at a slow pace and multiple times, to allow for plenty of pictures and cellphone video. In all, we would highly recommend the Doors Off tour.” - Chris D
